The Grace United Church of Christ is actively involved in providing opportunities of service within the community and support for service ministry. Some of our outreach endeavors include:

Carpenters Table – A free weekly community hot meal is served to men, women and children at 11:30 a.m. each Thursday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. Grace Church along with the other area churches alternate turns to host the weekly meal.

Caring and Sharing Ministries – Grace Church is part of the group of ten congregations in the Taneytown/Northwest Carroll area providing ecumenical fellowship and shared community ministries, religious education and community service.

Clothing Drive – Grace Church supports an annual clothing drive for local agencies. Donations can also be made throughout the year.

Red Cross Blood Drive РGrace Church assists with and takes turn hosting community blood drives during the year at the Taneytown Activities Bldg.  For more information please visit www.redcrossblood.org/donating-blood

Vacation Bible School – Grace Church participates with the other area community churches in providing and assisting with VBS each summer.

Neighbors in Need – Neighbors in Need (NIN) is a special mission offering of the UCC that supports ministries of justice and compassion throughout the United States. For more information please visit www.ucc.org/nin/
