 The Grace United Church of Christ is actively involved in providing opportunities of service within the community and support for service ministry.  Some of those include:

Carpenters Table - A free weekly community hot meal is served to men, women and children at 11:30 a.m. each Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church.  Grace Church along with the other area churches alternate turns to host the weekly meal.

Caring and Sharing Ministries - Grace Church is part of the group of ten congregations in the Taneytown/Northwest Carroll area providing ecumenical fellowship and shared community ministries, religious education and community service.  The current Chair of this group for 2012 is Grace Church Pastor Steven Ostendorf-Snell. 

 
Local Food Bank - Grace Church supports the local Taneytown food bank and members donate weekly. 

Haiti Hygiene Packets - Church members responded overwhelmingly with donations for hygiene packets and assembled packets to be sent to Haiti. 

Clothing Drive - Grace Church supports the clothing ministry located at St. Joseph's Catholc Church and has an annual clothing drive.  Donations can also be made throughout the year. 

Military Care Packages - Donations from church members have been collected and packaged and sent to Grace Church members serving in the military. 

Girl Scouts - Troop meetings are held bi-weekly at Grace Church.  www.girlscouts.org

 
Alcoholics Anonymous - Meetings are held weekly at Grace Church. www.aa.org 

Red Cross Blood Drive - Grace Church assists with and takes turn hosting community blood drives during the year at the Taneytown Activities Bldg www.redcross.org/donate/give 

 
Vacation Bible School - Grace Church participates with the other area community churches in providing and assisting with VBS each summer.
